Wear jeans with a purpose

JOIN US FOR A FUN AND AMAZING CELEBRATION!   

Wherever you are you can play your part by wearing denim to support survivors of sexual assault.

We invite you to join us at our Denim Day event as we have a great time to raise awareness and raise funds to continue the fight against sexual assault in Louisiana.

Included with your ticket purchase will be a heavy hor d'oeurves,  tea and wine (a cash bar for cocktails and beer will be available), a swag bag, simply amazing door prizes, live music, a "step & repeat," a silent auction with "you can't miss this" items, and a walk on the denim carpet.

An awesome fashion show with locally beloved personalities wearing the painted denim jackets will start at 7:30. 

PRE-SALE TICKETS ARE $28. / TICKETS AT THE DOOR ARE $35.

STUDENT TICKETS ARE $15.

One-of-a-kind denim jackets painted by local artists could be yours, ONLY through our online auction.

Ashley Fox-Smith

Ashley Fox-Smith

Ashley Fox-Smith is Associate Publisher of Country Roads magazine. She and her husband, James, have run the publication, which covers regional culture from the Mississippi Delta to the Louisiana coast, since 1995. Ashley is a lifelong resident of St. Francisville, La, and a graduate of LSU. She is the mother of two recently-departed, college-aged children, whose absence she fills with a gardening passion that has been described as “fanatical.”

Burk is an owner of Heroman's Florist, specifically the Zachary, La. location. Burk is a CHS graduate and avid sports fan.

Jency Griffin Hogan

Jency Griffin Hogan

Louisiana Actress and Producer Jency became an actress at 16. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University in theatre. She is a story-teller at heart. After a time in LA, she returned to Louisiana to embrace her story-telling passion. She has created many short films in the past 5 years. Her end goal is not to be famous, but to leave a legacy of films behind that will inspire people for generations.

Jacque Jovic

Jacque Jovic

Emmy award-winning journalist Jacque Jovic is the 5PM, 6PM and 10PM co-anchor (with husband Dan) for KTAL News in Shreveport. Serving the community is a big priority for Jacque. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors for (LaFASA), Project Celebration, and Mudbug Madness. While Jacque is passionate about news, her most cherished roles are that of wife and mother. She and Dan are the proud parents of daughter Danielle and son DJ.

Original Painted Denim Jackets

We are ecstatic to have amazing, local Louisiana artists. They have donated their talents to create one-of-a kind denim jackets that will be available only through our silent auction! Each jacket is signed by the artist. Win your favorite, original masterpiece and wear it all year long! Bidding starts MONDAY, April 22 at 8:00 a.m. via "32 Auctions" and ends SATURDAY, April 27 at 12:00N. Artists include Keith "the Cartoonman" Douglas, Danielle Jovic, Heather Barios, and the winning student from Southeastern University !
